Antje Umstätter is an artist and professor working with photography and media.

At Beuth University, Berlin, Antje Umstätter is Professor for Mediadesign, Photography and Motion Graphics.

She studied Fine Arts at Rietveld Academie, Amsterdam, went to St.Martins school of Art, London and received  a Master of Arts in visual communication in the class of Prof. Valie Export from Universität der Künste, Berlin in 1994.

She just returned from St. Louis, where she worked as a visiting artist at Saint Louis University´s studio art department, teaching together with Prof. A. Bautz. During that stay, she had two exhibits.

She exhibits artworks internationally.
